Buy Spice Now.com Is Online — Cook Something Interesting; Have Fun
Dot’s Thot: “Variety’s the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavor” — William Cowper
Learning to work and do business on the internet is an interesting challenge, indeed. This should be enough variety and spice to keep me young internally — not time to languish and fret. It did take a week to get this to run, but I am so glad it is online.
Cooking interesting dishes has always intrigued me and it is good to know that even in places without competing gourmet stores or ethnic markets, we can still be curious, get the ingredients, experiment and grow ever more intrigued by how and what other people eat.
If you are one of the many foodies who love to cook and have taste buds that yearn for adventures, we are now able to pull together some offerings you might find helpful. We will also continue to add recipes and pictures to share with you. If you are especially into saffron for paella (see recipe and info in our blog http://tinyurl.com/o889k3) or East Indian cooking you can try this online store.
If your mood is gingery-hot, try this store dedicated to ginger, dried, ground, bottled, crystalized, embedded in goodies like cookies and candies. For example, we recently wrote about an interesting ginger peanut chew candy (http://tinyurl.com/pcsukt).
Happy cooking and look for more recipes to come — we have already explained our fresh ginger honey tea for colds. (http://tinyurl.com/pc6yl7) I plan to write up one of the simplest saffron treats I love — honey saffron milk — imagine that with ginger snaps or cookies with embedded chunks of crystalized ginger.
