Editorial Reviews:
The iPod touch has always been an amazing iPod. And with its groundbreaking technologies–including a Multi-Touch screen, the accelerometer, and 3D graphics–and access to hundreds of games, iPod touch puts an amazing gaming experience in the palm of your hand. It comes in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB models with new volume controls and a built-in speaker. Play hours of music. Create a Genius Playlist of songs that go great together. Watch a movie. Surf the web. View rich HTML email. Find your location and get directions with Google Maps. Browse YouTube videos. And shop the App Store for games and applications.
P.S. Of course, for something lightweight for running or treadmill or elliptical use, consider the ipod shuffle: see my Mother’s Day gift mom’s pink ipod shuffle , but maybe not in that pretty pink. For ipod shuffle ideas see Ipod Shuffle 3G.com online store . Other ideas are the watch that President Barack Obama wears or the battery juice-up (extra gadget batteries) items. Don’t forget Dad on Father’s Day, June 21st. It also is the first day of summer — appropriate for that sunshine in our lives — Dad.
Aloha, Dot
50 Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol
Hi Deal Hunters!
This isn’t really a “deal” but I love this book. When I found The New 8-Week Cholesterol Cure by Robert E. Kowalski used on CholesterolZapper.com for $1.08, I figured it’d be worth passing on.
Now to get personal: I recently found out my cholesterol was high. I’m not super-overweight, I had good blood pressure, blood sugar, everything else. In most Aspects I was “fine” except my cholesterol was high, so my doc said this was a bit alarming.
When I told my mom, she sent me her copy of this book, and bought herself another. Let me tell you it’s fantastic.
It’s got information ranging from really detailed Science, to useful shopping list suggestions. It really helped me work on building new habits, which I think is the most important part of trying to work on a “healthier you.”
Anyway, check it out on CholesterolZapper.com if you’re interested in reading more. They’ve got reviews of the book (and lots of other stuff) and lots of things aimed at “zapping cholesterol.”
Happy Deal-Hunting!
-Michelle
