ShopYogaGear.com:

Over on ShopYogagear.com I came across this – Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff.
It’s a great visually appealing resource for yoga buffs, and it’s got some good customer reviews. It seems to me like the kind of book that would be great for something interested in learning about the connections between more traditional kinesthesiology and the movements and postures of Yoga.
One customer mentions that it’s not a great book for someone unfamiliar with a lot of “physical therapy terms.” I’d respond by saying it seems to be a book that is more focused on linking the workings of the body to the practice of yoga, so some technical terms are to be expected.
All-in-all it looks like an interesting read, and a visually stunning look at the beauty and strength of the human body.
Plus, it’s priced about $12, which is a reasonably good deal for any educational material.
P.S. While you’re over there, click over to the “Videos” on ShopYogaGear.com to see some Yoga-related vids filtered from Youtube. They update pretty regularly so check back!
